Description

Xlendi is the most picturesque village of whole Malta. The tunnel (aka Xlendi Cave) is located in the northern wall of Xlendi Bay. It's about 70 metres long and runs through the buttress to the neighboring bay with many places to surface and breathe so it's relatively safe and suitable even for beginners to gaining first experiences with freediving in an overhead environment. One of the best places for romantic souls as the sunset diving creates very warm and cosy atmosphere

Note

The tunnel is shallow so the see needs to be calm for this dive since rough sea creates surges in the tunnel which are always dangerous. Boats are entering and leaving the bay, extra caution necessary!!!
